Crude steel and steel production hit a new record in May

On June 14, the data released by the National Bureau of statistics showed that in May, China’s crude steel production increased by 10% year-on-year to 89.09 million tons, once again a record high monthly production, with the previous high of 85.03 million tons in April this year. From January to may, the crude steel output was 404.88 million tons, up 10.2% year on year. In terms of monthly daily average output, in May, the daily average output of crude steel was 2.87 million tons, and the daily average output of steel was 3.465 million tons, a record high for both sides. The top two are in April this year. The daily output of crude steel and steel is 2.83 million tons and 3.4 million tons respectively.
